Emeperor Claudius (ruled between 41-54), c. near the end of the rule by Caligula or during the early rule by Claudius concurrent with the statue of Germanicus, his brother which stood with it in the forum of Gabies - Louvre Museum, Paris, France. (See Detail )

NOTE: Claudius had difficulties with speech articulation, drooling and spasmodic contorsions of his neck, perhaps the reason why his neck is rather thick. (also depicted in other Roman works [a] and [b]).
